The Yolo Cousins. A ragtop '62 Chevy. A cover version of Chan Chan.

Here at The Yolo County Hermit random things are brought to light, including this classy Chevy Impala ragtop. I think it's a 1962; at least this, my Dad had a white one that looked like this, and it was a '62. 

These are the fellows for whom Yolo County California is named; cousins Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Yolo. The Yolo Cousins. Rough and tumble guys, led by Michael (sitting), they were the Yolo County Sheriff's Department from before World War One until the onset of World War Two, when they enlisted in the Army. Not one of them was over 5 feet tall. Marlon, on the far right, was 4'4".

Ever since the Buena Vista Social Club came out in the 1990s I have been into Cuban music. The big song on the album was Chan Chan, and here it is covered by a young fellow named George in Southern California.
